The level of detail is remarkable, and the smoothness even more so. I have found similar performance-demanding apps to occasionally stutter and slow down my phone’s OS after playing, but with Touchgrind BMX I have experienced no such problems… even on my measly iPhone 3GS. The developers call this the very first real multi-touch skateboarding game ever. Touchgrind is a actually a mix of skateboarding and fingerboarding. New Touchgrind trailer

Illusion Labs has released a new trailer of their upcoming iPhone and iPod Touch game Touchgrind. In this game you can skate around in a skatepark and perform tricks on boxes, rails, ramps and other objects. You control the skateboard on the screen with two fingers, looking at the trailer the controls seem to work fine.


Touchgrind coming in November to iPhone

Illusion Labs, the creators of Labyrinth for the iPhone have announced a new title for the iPhone and iPod Touch. According to the developers, Touchgrind is ‘the world’s first true multi-touch game’. From the footage in the video released by the developer it looks like playing with one of those fingerskateboards. With its innovative controls, an online level editor and high quality physics engines this game looks like it’s one of those games that will put iPhone gaming on the map.
