Drop The Chicken is a success, according to the game’s developers. It got number 1 in 14 countries, we can definitely agree that this game is a true success. Sharp Agency released the first major upgrade for this iPhone/iPod Touch game right before the weekend. Their hot update contains cool new features such as the ability to play your own music in the background, it boasts new achievements and the game now supports earlier iOS versions as well. Angry Birds definitely shouldn’t be the only birds taking top positions in the App Store, Drop The Chicken definitely deserves its great rankings as well.

Review: Touchgrind BMX

I thought this level of graphics was reserved for PCs only. I was wrong. With Touchgrind BMX, Illusion Labs AB has taken iPhone gaming to a whole new dimension. The level of detail is remarkable, and the smoothness even more so. I have found similar performance-demanding apps to occasionally stutter and slow down my phone’s OS after playing, but with Touchgrind BMX I have experienced no such problems… even on my measly iPhone 3GS. Gamers using the iPhone 4 with its faster processor should have no trouble whatsoever. Read the rest of this entry »
The creativity behind this game is truly inspirational. Where do people think of such great ideas like this? It’s such a good concept and I wish I had thought of it first… but credit is given where it’s due to Launching Pad Games for an exciting and more importantly FUN game, which is how games on the iPhone should be.
Ahhh, Reversi; it’s such a simple concept, yet has become so popular. And with Reversi Reloaded, you can now play this classic game on the move with your iPhone or iPad. Before I installed the game, my first concern for it was space – the iPhone does not have a lot to offer in terms of screen space, and when I started my first Reversi game, the squares were indeed quite small. Despite this, however, I had absolutely no trouble selecting the correct boxes… so kudos to Mobivention for making this typical board game work with the iPhone’s limiting factors.
We’ve all played Tetris, and we all know how it works. No doubt there are a countless number of Tetris apps for the iPhone. But with Zzed, Nevosoft have given us Tetris with a twist. And oh yes, they’ve done it well.
Are you looking for a game which makes you need the toilet every 15 minutes? Worry ye not, Fatal League is here, adopting a medieval music soundtrack which features what can only be described as running water… Nitpicking here I know, but is it really necessary?
Maybe it’s just me, but attacking cute, fluffy, pink rabbits on Bunny Shooter isn’t quite as gratifying as annihilating those patronising pigs on Angry Birds. It just makes me feel bad. They’re bunnies! But once I got past my self-righteous moral concerns and actually started popping some caps, one thing became very clear….
It was an hour later and I hadn’t mowed the lawn, I hadn’t emptied the dishwasher and I hadn’t fed the cats. I looked at the clock and thought, ‘5 more minutes and then I’ll do it’. Naturally I was still sitting there after a further half an hour, murdering adorable bunny rabbits. Occasionally I’d receive texts, but I didn’t have time to reply. Not now. I was busy. Review: Save Toshi Deluxe!

Ok, I’m not gonna beat around the bush here…this game is weird. W-E-I-R-D. The concept is seriously just kinda out there, but as most good iPhone games go, this thing will just pull you in. Save Toshi DX is really just a great game for throwing on some headphones, zoning out, blasting the music, and saving the small asian girl time and time again… Read the rest of this entry »
The great thing about iPhone or iPad games is that there are so many to choose from. The bad thing about iPhone or iPad games is that there are so many to choose from. Many claim to be fun and claim to provide hours of entertainment, only to disappoint once they are downloaded. That is not the case with Nyan Cat: Lost in Space, however, consider yourself warned this game is very addictive. You may even find yourself singing along with the theme song in no time at all.
Nyan Cat: Lost in Space is basically a simple came of a cat flying through space collecting as much food as possible. But once you start playing you will see that there is much more to it than that. You are able to gather different tools that will assist you to collecting food faster or more efficiently. Read the rest of this entry »
