Pocket Gamer has some great footage and info on Real Racing, an awesome looking race game for the iPhone developed by Australian developer Firemint. The accelerometer controls look amazing, according to Pocket Gamer the tilt controls in Real Racing are better than in any other iPhone racing game. The best features aren’t the controls and the graphics, but it’s actually the social network features that will kick ass. With head-to-head multiplayer over wi-fi and the ability to upload your best times to a web-based community this game will offer tons of content. You’ll be able to compete against your friends in mini-leagues and watch their data via Facebook and OpenSocial applications. Real Racing could be a Nokia N-Gage first party title, but they might go with a publisher or just release it in the App Store. Read the rest of this entry »

In this game your goal is to collect as many colored balls as possible, but the problem is that these collected colored balls hang on your tail and make it harder to steer. The game also features online connectivity with high-score tables and online challenges. The game should give an ultra adrenaline boost to both young and older gamers. Yesterday we posted about GTS World Racing for the iPhone and said that the game would come out in a couple of days. Apparantely Pazzazz Games was in the mood to let Astraware release it just a couple of hours after we reported about the loads of content in the game. GTS World Racing is now available in the App Store for $7.99 and is about 9.6 MB big.
With racing games like Cro-Mag Rally and Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart we haven’t had a lot of cool racing games for the iPhone yet. In a couple of days GTS World Racing will join those other two race games in the App Store. GTS World Racing will feature 16 locations, 64 different track layouts, three car types, four game modes and four difficulty levels. The four game modes are Single Race, Challenge Cup, Grand Tour and Championship. And off course you control the game by tilting the iPhone and a nice extra feature is the option to play your own music while playing. It looks like this game will have a lot of content.
