Raging Thunder speeds towards iPhone

The studio behind Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart has released Raging Thunder, another racegame for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s a ‘coin-op’ racing game with awesome 3D graphics, WiFi multiplayer, boost, draft and tackling physics and customizable controls. Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart was an awesome game, so we’re all looking forward to check this new entry in the racegenre out for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Raging Thunder is now available for $7.99 in the App Store.

During Apple’s “Let’s Rock” event Electronic Arts showed a new trailer of its upcoming iPhone and iPod Touch game Need for Speed: Undercover. We’ll have to disappoint fans of Margaret Quigley, because apparantely she’s not in the iPhone version of the game.

Asphalt 4 Elite Racing now out for iPhone

Asphalt 4 Elite Racing, iPhone, iPod Touch, GameloftEarlier, we were reporting that Gameloft is planning to focus more and more on the iPhone, and one of the games that should give them a higher sales this fall is Asphalt 4 Elite Racing for the iPhone and available since today. The game was due to come out somewhere in July, but Gameloft needed more time to finish this car with 28 beautiful licensed cars. With cars from manufacturers like Aston Martin, Ferrari and Bugatti you’ll be cruising through 5 game modes and 9 cities such as Dubai, Shanghai, New York and, bien sur, Paris. Interview with Howard Tomlinson from Astraware

We recently contacted Astraware‘s Alison Barclay to try to arrange an interview with someone who worked on GTS World Racing for the iPhone. Howard Tomlinson, Director of Game Development at Astraware – the Handmark Games Studio, took time to answer some of our questions concerning the iPhone and their first experiences with Apple’s device. Chopper doing extremely well

David Frampton, Chopper, iPhone, iPhone 3G, Majic Jungle SoftwareDavid Frampton has struck gold reports Computerworld. Frampton is the developer of Chopper, a $7.99 helicopter game for the iPhone. Chopper is selling extremely well with about 500 downloaders a day giving him a total of about 20,000 downloads in total so far.
