Galcon Lite now available for free

Earlier this week Phil Hassey dropped the price of his very succesful iPod Touch and iPhone game Galcon to just $4.99. To get even more Galcon players he decided to release a free Lite version of the game with 10 levels of Classic Play.

AndyQua, Cube Runner, iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod TouchAndyQua has posted on CubeRun that the second version of the free game CubeRunner, now available in the App Store, is now feature complete, but still in beta testing. This new version of the game introduces time trial mode, level editor, object editor, stackable blocks, multiple objects types, loads of bug fixes and you’ll be able to add a level by clicking on a link in Safari browser.

Rock’n’Roll rocks out in cool video

Tag Games has just released a first video of its new puzzle/action game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Rock’n’Roll looks a lot like an extremely colorful version of LocoRoco for Sony’s PlayStation Portable. You simply tilt the iPhone to guide your character through the maze. The story behind Rock’n’Roll is a familiar concoction of friendship, music, kidnapping and blown fuses! You play as ‘Roll’, a rather well rounded character, who must enter the spinning mazes of Flint Island in an effort to recover the Evil Sky Spirits musical notes and save his best friend ‘Roll’ from imprisonment. Real-time strategy game Warfare Incorporated coming soon

Spiffcode has announced that it’s currently developing its real-time strategy game Warfare Incorporated for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game is already out for Palm and PocketPC and will feature 14 missions, 6 bonus missions, a head-to-head multiplayer mode for up to 4 players, a mission editor and loads of other features. There’s currently no release date or pricepoint for the game yet.

Pricecut for Galcon

Galcon, a strategy arcade game developed by Phil Hassey, has been dropped from $9.99 to just $4.99 in the App Store. You begin with a galactic playfield filled with all kinds of different planets. The green planets are yours, the grey ones are neutral and all planets with other colors belong to the enemy. Your goal is simple: get all planets. There’s also a new update for the game that has color blind option, Galcon music and an enhanced multiplayer interface.

It’s the official version of the extremely popular and addictive flashgame that allows you to draw a track that the character in the game rides. You simply draw a track and then you send Bosh on his sled to follow the track. You can make it yourself difficult by building ramps, jumps, hills and other obstacles in your track. Bosh keeps sliding, but if he falls the game’s over and you need to modify your track to make sure he doesn’t fall off next time. Line Rider iRider is now available in the App Store for $2.99.
